Ronetix, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance System on Modules (SoM) solutions announces its upcoming SMARC 82x50mm SoM based on NXP i.MX95 64-bit 6x 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A55, alongside 800MHz Cortex-M7 and 333MHz Cortex-M33 for low latency and real-time tasks, up to 16 GB LPDDR5-RAM and 256 GB eMMC.
The i.MX 95’s integrated eIQ® Neutron NPU allows for advanced Computer Vision with multiple cameras. Application development is supported by the award-winning eIQ® machine learning software development environment, supporting TensorFlow, PyTorch and ONNIX.
The i.MX 95 family integrates a secure enclave to streamline the implementation of security-critical functions like secure boot, cryptography, trust provisioning, and run-time attestation and simplify compliance with global Cyber security regulations, such as the upcoming EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
Edge platforms in Industry 4.0, automotive connectivity domain controllers, and IoT smart city gateways will benefit from the integration of 10-gigabit Ethernet, along with 1000BASE-T1 Automotive Ethernet and 1-gigabit Ethernet ports. These ports come equipped with Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) and IEEE 1588 capabilities.
The integrated Arm® Mali GPU supports OpenGL® ES 3.2 and Vulkan® 1.2. OpenCL 3.0 enables rich, high-resolution graphical experiences or compute acceleration. The independent 2D GPU is part of the real-time domain and can blend graphics overlays for conveying critical information in safety or real-time applications. The RNX-iMX95-SMARC supports HDMI, MIPI-DSI MIPI-CSI, and up to 2x LVDS Displays.
For evaluation and design-in of the new RNX-iMX95-SMARC modules, Ronetix provides a carrier board RNX-SMARC-CARRIER. A Yocto based Linux Board Support Package is available.
